My work is Afro-Fem Centric. I am a 21st century Renaissance woman/ARTIST and former model residing in the valley of glamorous Los Angeles. I was born in a small Louisiana town rooted in cultural lore and honor: ethereal, spiritual and symbolically beautiful.

Translating the feminine: strong, linear, curvaceous; interpreting beauty as I see it through God’s creation of Humanity in nature. First, I’m inspired by local Louisiana folk art. And, artists Freda Kahlo, Paul Gaugin, Salvador Dali, Georgia O’Keefe are my soulful heritage of African influence. Life is a large painting, concert and theatrical performance. I paint with these thoughts in mind, implementing color, texture, linear curvations, movement, texture, simplicity and intensity; all for creation.

I anticipate a movement of woman artists expressing purity in all their stories - color, sensuality, light, dark, pain and healing, highs and lows, individuality, diversity, femininity and strength; the seeding of life and the joy in their purpose.
